EDUCATIONAL VISITS


KASBIT believes on learning by experience. KASBIT always arranges the trips and industrial visits related to the curriculum of different subjects so that students are aware about the current market trends and new technologies and other practical facets of their studies.

Visit to the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA)


On May 29th 2003, NADRA Headquarters, Islamabad, invited KASBIT students to a grand Industrial visit at its Karachi offices. Mr. Swaleh Masti Khan, Database Administrator along with Mr. Muhammad Sohail Kaim Khani, Network Administrator, delivered a pre-visit briefing to the students at KASBIT premises. This program included visits to NADRA’s PHQ Office, Site Office and NSRC East and SSRC Ayesha Manzil Karachi. The Administrators and staff at all these sites showed and explained the real time data entry and manipulation processes, remote backup and storage processes etc. Students were also introduced to state- of-the-art scanning and fingerprint recognition machines used to perform the task of computerizing the National Identity Card for the entire nation.

Visit to the National Museum Karachi

Pakistan is country with rich history. A great number of monuments of the history of civilization, archeological sites and museums are situated in it. Some of the world’s greatest ancient civilizations were developed in this area of the world. Therefore, the region is often referred to as the cradle of mankind. Keeping this in mind, KASBIT organized an educational visit to the National Museum of Karachi. Students experienced the monuments of our valuable culture and historical background and also prepared a summarized report of the visit.
