KASBIT is a
higher education institution in the private sector established in October
1999 to cater the need of those students who desire quality education in the
area of Business Administration, Management Sciences and Information
Technology. KASBIT is a part of the KASB group of companies, which is one of
the oldest and leading business groups in Pakistan. KASB group includes KASB
Bank, KASB Securities, KASB Technology, KASB Developers, KASB Funds, NOVA
Technology and KASB Foundation.
KASBIT
is a member of ISO 9001, The Association of Advance Collegiate Schools of
Business (AACSB) and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB). Its campus is
situated off Sahara-e-Faisal Road in Karachi and is easily accessible by all
kinds of transport from every part of the city.

Annual Dinner
An annual Dinner was organized by
KASBIT student council at Behria Auditorium Lawn. The Dinner
was attended by eminent personalities which included
professors from various Universities. Students enjoyed the
event and participated in various items with great zeal.
Prize
Distribution Ceremony
At Behria Auditorium Prize Distribution ceremony was
organized by KASBIT Student Council. Dr.Mohammad Mahmud Dean
(FMS) was the chief guest of the occasion. He appreciated
the organizing team and congratulated the winners of the
student sports week .In the event prizes were awarded to the
winners and runners up of the individual and team events
held during the semester Fall 2006.
Concert
KASBIT student council at Behria Auditorium organized a
musical concert, which featured emerging Bands, the main
attraction of the concert was Karwan Group the students and
parents present on the occasion enjoyed the evening and
appreciated KSC.

Debate Competition
The Allama Iqbal Shield Debate competition organized by Mr. Kamran Mehboob,
(FMS) its purpose is to polish presentation skills and to build awareness
about the current issues present in the society. The topic of Debate
Competition for English debate was “Girls are better administrator than
boys”, Mariuum Ahmed and, Uzariar Fazl-e-Umer, Bilal Hameed and Hafiz
Shareef was the winners.
And the topic for Urdu debate was “Dolat say hi Izzat
Milti Hai” and the winner were Bilal Ahmed Abbasi, Mohmmad
Shrif, Uzair Fazl-e-Omer, and Abdul Samud.
Sports
Cricket
match organized by Faculty of
Management Sciences. Its objective is to promote sports
and extra curricular activities among the students at
KASBIT. The winner of the Match was MBA-1 Team, their
captain was Subhan Qadri and the runner up team was KSC.
Faculty of Management Sciences also organized a Virtual
Gamming Day in which winner were Ali Meer, Syed Wajahat
Ali, Sabih Ahmed, Sheerjeel Rasheed. |

TRAINING OF
THE TRAINERS (Three Days Work Shop)
A three days training workshop conducted by
Dr. Laeequz-Zaman a consultant Teacher’s Trainer was organized by the
management of KASBIT, in order to provide an insight about the latest
teaching techniques and methods being used in the world. The workshop also
included sessions which made the participant’s learn about the latest
research techniques.
All the faculty members of KASBIT attended
the three days workshop and appreciated the efforts of Dr. Laeequz-Zaman. |
