Student life is a golden period of training to prepare themselves for future life .During this period one remains attached to the aim of passing examinationsonly. It is a period of preparation for social, economic and religion problems of life which weexpect to face in future.

Student life has its own smiles and tears, joys and sorrows. To many it is a period when everything looks romantic and lovely. Ignorant of the sad experiences of the world and the serious struggles of life, a person begins a carefree life as student.  At this time he / she feel that he / she can save humanity from all the ills, and can make this world a paradise.

However, there is no rose without a thorn and no pleasure without some pain. Students have certain duties to discharge to his own self, to his / her  parents, to his / her  family, to the country, to the world and what is more important, to God. “To shine oneself, to be true”,is the voice of wisdom, which is listened to in student life, must bear rich fruit as the path full of difficulties.

Thus student’s life has its own responsibilities and pleasure, privileges and duties, joys and sorrow. This is the best period of life that can hardly be mended. Therefore students should be sensible enough to use this period wisely and fruitfully.

Students get involved in a wide range of volunteeringopportunities, making a difference, representing others,practicing and developing invaluable skills and experiences.

Every year a Cricket match is organized by Faculty of Management Sciences. Its objective is to promote sports and extra curricular activities among the students at KASBIT.

The Allama Iqbal Shield Debate competition was organizedby KASBIT. Its purpose is to polish presentation skills andto build awareness about the current issues present in the society. 

The topic of Debate Competition for English debate was “Girls are better administrator than boys”. Winners were Marium Ahmed and, Uzair Fazl-e-Umer, Bilal Hameed and Hafiz Shareef. 

And the topic for Urdu debate was “Dolat say hi Izzat Milti Hai” and the winners were Bilal Ahmed Abbasi, Muhammad Shrif, Uzair Fazl-e-Omer, and Abdul Samad.

A seminar was organized by KASBIT, for providingthe students an in-depth knowledge about the current problems of Pakistan. The speaker of the seminar was Lieutenant General Moin-ud-Din Haider (Retired). It was attended by all students and faculty members.

 In addition to these, other seminars were also organized by KASBIT to broaden the knowledge base of the students.

·   “International trade with documentary credit” by Mr. Salman Ali (Assistant Branch Manager Askari Commercial Bank). 

·   Emerging Concepts of Human Resource Management by Dr. Asrar H.Siddiqi (General Manager Training and Management Development Division Bank Al Habib).      

·   Civil Services of Pakistan by Mr.Mehdi Mustafa. 

·   Call Center Industry In Pakistan.

At KASBIT we expose the students to world of  work by exposing them to practical environment.Many students have the opportunity to spend time in a workplace to understand and experience the world of work in Multinational &  Local companies and Financial Institutions.

These were arranged to different well known Government and Private Sector Organizations: 

An annual Dinner was organized by KASBIT student council at Baharia Auditorium Lawn. The Dinner was attended by eminent personalities which included professors from various Universities. Students enjoyed the event and participated in various items with great zeal.

At Baharia Auditorium Prize Distribution ceremony was organized by KASBIT Student Council.  

Dr. Mohammad Mahmud Dean (FMS) was the chief guest of the occasion. He appreciated the organizing team and congratulated the winners of the student sports week. 

In the event prizes were awarded to the winners and runners up of the individual and team events held during the semester Fall 2006.
